Life Coaching

Life Coaching is for anyone who wants professional guidance and support in effecting positive change in his or her life.  All of us have times in life when we feel stuck or in a transition that isn't going well.  A good life coach helps her clients see below the surface and make lasting life changes based on deeper self-awareness and integration of new life skills.

Coaching programs are individually designed for each client based on her or his needs.  There are no "formulaic" approaches, every human being and their struggles are unique.  Kellogg coaching programs are therefore uniquely developed with each client's participation in order to truly meet each person's individual needs.  We only work with a few clients at a time and everyone receives all the attention and focus they require in order to achieve their goals.

How does it work? 

First you will have an intake session and work with your coach to clarify and fine tune your goals

Once your goals are clear we begin the coaching process, meeting weekly at first and then every two to three weeks until your goals are met.

Each week you and your coach prepare in advance for the session, creating an agenda and catching up prior to the actual session so you can hit the ground running when you meet and make the most of your time with your coach.

During each session you will make systematic progress towards achieving the outcomes you've identified and work with your coach on developing helpful "homework" (a book to read, person to brainstorm with, self-observation practice etc) to do before the next session to keep your momentum and progress moving along.  Coaching is a client driven process, how quickly you achieve your goals is up to you.  You move at the pace that feels comfortable and right for you.

Coaching programs last anywhere from 3 to 12 months, the average is 9 months.  Coaching is not like therapy which can last for years.  It is an efficient, organized way of helping you achieve your goals fast whether it's a new career, better relationships or more life balance.
